POLICIES, PREP & AFTERCARE
In order for MIICA and Co to operate successfully and to ensure a clear guideline for our clientele, the below policies are put into place to ensure all existing and future clients are aware of our policies, aftercare instructions and any prep required before booking in a service.

Before making any bookings with MIICA and Co, You (the Client) have read the policies and procedures in place and by confirming your appointment, have read and accepted these policies.

Preparing for your appointment
Skip caffeinated drinks and/or energy drinks up to 4 hours prior to your appointment as this can cause eyes to become fluttery & unsettled.

Wear something comfortable as you will be laying on your back for upwards of an hour.
Arrive with a clean face and clean eyelashes with no eye makeup (mascara/eye shadow) or moisturiser on or around the eye area. Residual oils and makeup will only prevent the adhesive from properly bonding, resulting in poor retention.

Please arrive to your appointment on time.
If for some reason you're running late, please let me know asap. I will send you a message if its ok to come in earlier if I see you waiting outside in your vehicle.
Headphones- if you prefer listening to your own music or podcasts, you're more than welcome to bring your headphones along with you.
Please remove eye contacts prior to your appointment.
Policies
Deposit instructions are stated in my booking system. All appointments made with no deposit received within 10 hours will be cancelled and made available.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead of your booking time will forfeit your deposit. However, if cancellations are made prior to the 24 hour mark you have the option to reschedule.
No shows will forfeit their deposit and will be sent an invoice fee of 50% of the total service. Second time no shows unfortunately cannot book for future services.

If you happen to arrive to your appointment late, please note that I will only complete your sets according to your total booked time as I usually have back-to-back clients.

If you are unhappy with your service received, have major fallout or experience symptoms of an allergic reaction, please let me know within 72 hours so that we are able to work together on a solution. Some people may encounter an allergic reaction. Because I am not a medical professional, please seek medical advice from your GP. I am able to remove your set free of charge.

Because I am home based, I do not have the space to seat extra people so we ask that you come to your appointment alone.

Aftercare
Caring for your new eyelash extensions
Avoid wetting your lashes for the first 24 hours after your appointment. This includes running water over your face in the shower, weeping eyes (excessive crying) etc.
Do not use oil-based products around your lashes as this can break down the adhesive resulting in poor retention. Mascara is a no no.
Always keep your lashes clean. Quick dips under the shower head are fine, however, you must remember that the heat from the shower will breakdown your adhesive over continued exposure. Post shower - brush through with your spoolie.
Swimming whether in pools or the beach are not recommended especially if your head is submerged as your lashes remain in a soaked state affecting retention.
Avoid picking and fidgeting with your lashes. As your natural lashes grow, so should your extensions. If they are due an infill - book in to keep them full and so that we are able to remove outgrown lashes. Infills are recommended every 3 weeks.
Avoid heat - ovens, stove tops, open flames or steam etc this can cause your lashes to singe.
